Brotzeit is a home-grown brand conceived in 2006 to introduce authentic German cuisine accompanied by world-famous quality German beer in a contemporary setting. Brotzeit is focused on achieving sustainable business growth and regional expansion by working in partnership with strategic area developers.

Today, Brotzeit is one of the world’s leading franchised German concept casual dining restaurant, currently operating 19 outlets in seven countries. Besides our five corporate outlets in Singapore, we have successfully established a regional footprint in Asia, having opened 13 overseas franchise outlets since 2010 – Malaysia (2 outlets), Vietnam, Hong Kong(2 outlets), China (2 outlets), Philippines (3 outlets) and Australia (3 outlets).

Franchising Opportunities with Brotzeit

The rapid growth of Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant based primarily upon the continuous development on the unique contemporary design of a German restaurant as well as serving up quality and authentic Bavarian, German cuisine in a ‘Relax Excellence’ environment. Brotzeit growth success will thrive on the continued sale of Franchise area development agreements. Brotzeit does not sell single-unit Franchises in a new market, rather, we have chosen to develop by selling market areas, which require the Franchise developer to open a number of units, typically 3-6 in a period of 6 years.

Brotzeit Franchisees must be well-capitalized to open Brotzeit and meet this aggressive development schedule. Additionally, experience in managing multi-unit restaurant or food & beverage related business would be an advantage when operating Brotzeit restaurant.

How Does Brotzeit Support Franchisees?

The Vice-President, Franchise Operations and the International Operations Team will provide complete consulting support to our International Franchise groups. Their focus is to work with Franchisees to create business strategies and best practices that would improve the organisation’s operations, marketing, people development, and increase market share. The International Operations Team will be the link between Franchisee and Brotzeit®’s headquarter. In addition, Brotzeit® will provide an opening team to assist new Franchisees with training and opening of their first outlet and subsequent outlets if needed at a minimal direct cost. Brotzeit® also provides ongoing marketing, procurement, training, and I.T. support.
